    Tour 'Wow' Points

The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is the largest giant panda breeding research institution in the world and the best place to observe these national treasures. The base boasts a beautiful ecological environment with lush greenery, making it a comprehensive attraction that integrates research, education, tourism, and conservation. Here, you can closely observe the adorable antics of giant pandas, from munching on bamboo and climbing trees to rolling around, all of which will bring a smile to your face. In addition to the pandas, the base features a specialized science education area, allowing visitors to learn about their habits and conservation knowledge while enjoying the charming pandas. There's also a special “Panda Encounter” experience, where you can meet the celebrity panda "Hua Hua."

    One-day International School Experience

In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, students will make Chinese friends, create unforgettable memories of their China journey, and further strengthen youth friendship and cultural exchange between China and Tanzania. By interacting with Chinese teachers and students, participants will learn basic Chinese expressions, enhance their practical language abilities, and better experience daily life in China.

    Chunxi Road

Chunxi Road is Chengdu’s most popular district, where modern attractions mix with local street snacks and traditional teahouses. While enjoying authentic Sichuan cuisine, you can also find panda-themed shops and souvenirs, adding a fun touch to the vibrant atmosphere of the city and its beloved pandas. Visitors often stop by to snap a fun photo with the iconic panda butt statue, a favorite spot for panda lovers.

    Sanxingdui Museum

Tour the Sanxingdui site and explore its fascinating ancient civilization. Named after three large earth mounds that rise abruptly from the Chengdu Plain, Sanxingdui is a modern archaeological museum dedicated to the ancient Shu culture and one of the most important Bronze Age sites in southwestern China. The discovery of two massive sacrificial pits from the Shang dynasty revealed thousands of rare artifacts, including the Bronze Divine Tree, the Golden Staff, and the towering Bronze Standing Figure—many of which are unique in the world. These findings pushed back the timeline of the Shu civilization to 5,000 years ago and offer rich historical, scientific, artistic, and visual value. Here, you’ll experience the brilliance of ancient Shu culture and encounter the many mysteries that still surround Sanxingdui.

    Kuanzhai Alley

Kuanzhai Alley is a historic and vibrant area in Chengdu, offering a perfect blend of ancient charm and modern lifestyle. The name "Kuanzhai" translates to "wide and narrow," referring to the two parallel alleys—one wide and the other narrow—that make up the heart of this cultural zone. These alleys date back to the Qing Dynasty and were once residential areas for merchants and officials. Today, they have been beautifully restored and transformed into a lively cultural hub, lined with traditional courtyard houses, teahouses, restaurants, boutique shops, and artisan stalls. Strolling through Kuanzhai Alley, visitors can experience Chengdu’s laid-back atmosphere, enjoy delicious local snacks like spicy hotpot and dumplings, and explore a wide array of Sichuan handicrafts. The area is also known for its beautiful blend of traditional architecture and contemporary elements, with a variety of cultural performances and activities taking place throughout the year. Kuanzhai Alley is not only a great place to sample Sichuan cuisine and shop for souvenirs, but it also offers a unique glimpse into the history and lifestyle of old Chengdu.
