Tour 'Wow' Points

Golden Coast (Jinshitan Golden Beach)

Part of the larger Jinshitan resort area, the Golden Coast is famous for its long stretch of soft golden sand and gentle waves. It's a popular destination for swimming, beach games, and relaxing walks along the shore. The peaceful atmosphere and clean environment make it especially attractive for travelers looking to unwind by the sea.

Shenyang Imperial Palace

Also known as the Mukden Palace, the Shenyang Imperial Palace is the second-largest royal palace complex in China after Beijing’s Forbidden City. Built in the early 17th century by the founders of the Qing Dynasty, it served as the imperial residence for the first three Qing emperors before the capital moved to Beijing. The palace features a unique blend of Han, Manchu, Mongolian, and Tibetan architectural styles, reflecting the multi-ethnic culture of early Qing rule. With over 300 rooms and beautifully preserved halls, pavilions, and courtyards, it offers a fascinating glimpse into China’s imperial past. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-visit historical landmark in northeastern China.

Golden Pebble Beach (Jinshitan Scenic Area)

Located about 50 km from downtown Dalian, Golden Pebble Beach is a scenic coastal area known for its golden sandy beaches, dramatic rock formations, and clear blue waters. It’s ideal for sunbathing, water sports, and family outings. The area also features golf courses, theme parks, and resorts, making it a perfect seaside getaway.

Laohutan Ocean Park (Tiger Beach Ocean Park)

One of China's largest marine parks, Laohutan Ocean Park combines beautiful natural coastline with fun attractions. It features a polar museum, coral aquarium, marine animal shows, and a tiger sculpture that's become an iconic Dalian landmark. The park is great for families and animal lovers looking to explore the underwater world.

Xinghai Square

Xinghai Square is the largest city square in Asia. Shaped like an oval, it covers a space even larger than two Tiananmen Squares. A central avenue cuts through the heart of the square. Highlights here include a grand castle-style hotel, the unique Shell Museum, the “Footprints of a Thousand People,” the “Wordless Heavenly Book,” the Convention & Exhibition Center’s exterior, and the impressive Centennial City Sculpture.

Lianhua Mountain Viewing Platform
