Tour 'Wow' Points

Panda Park

The China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda – Dujiangyan Base (also known as “Panda Park”) is located on Huaizhong Road in Shiqiao Village, Dujiangyan, about 18 kilometers from the city center. It sits to the north of the sacred Taoist site of Mount Qingcheng and to the south of the historic Jiezi Ancient Town. It lies within the Western Sichuan tourist loop and borders the UNESCO World Heritage panda habitat area. With its mild climate and natural environment, it provides an ideal home for giant pandas.

Shuangqiao Valley (Mount Siguniang Scenic Area)

Shuangqiao Valley spans 34 kilometers and is best explored by eco-shuttle, with an average visit time of around 4 hours. Each scenic spot has a designated bus stop—please board and disembark only at these points, and keep your valuables secure. The valley receives ample sunlight and strong UV radiation, so be sure to bring sunglasses, a hat or umbrella, and sunscreen. Smoking and littering are strictly prohibited, with fines starting at 500 RMB. The valley lies at an altitude of 2,500–3,800 meters. To avoid altitude sickness, it's recommended to walk downhill from higher elevations and avoid intense physical activity.

Dujiangyan Irrigation System

Located on the Min River in the western part of the Chengdu Plain, in Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province, this ancient irrigation system was built during the late reign of King Zhao of the Qin Dynasty. It was designed and constructed by local official Li Bing and his son, building on the earlier work of a man named Bieli. The system consists of key components like the Fish Mouth Levee, Flying Sand Weir, and Bottle-Neck Channel. For over 2,000 years, it has played a vital role in flood control and irrigation, transforming the Chengdu Plain into a fertile land known as the “Land of Abundance.” Today, it continues to irrigate more than 10 million acres across 30 counties and cities. It is the oldest, largest, and only functioning no-dam water diversion system in the world, a testament to the wisdom and ingenuity of ancient Chinese engineering.

Leshan Giant Buddha

Carved during the early years of the Tang Dynasty (circa 713 AD), the Leshan Giant Buddha took 90 years to complete. Standing 71 meters (233 feet) tall, it is the world’s largest stone Buddha statue depicting Maitreya. It is famously described as “a mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is a mountain.” Key attractions include Lingyun Temple, the Grand Hall of the Great Hero, the winding Nine-Bend Plank Road, the confluence of three rivers, and the Lingbao Pagoda.

Mount Emei Tour

One of the four renowned Buddhist mountains in China, hailed as the "Fairyland of the Buddhist Realm", Mount Emei enchants with its charming natural scenery and billowing clouds and mists, like a flowing landscape scroll. Ascend to the summit of Golden Summit and get lost in the splendor of the sunrise, the vastness of the sea of clouds and the mystery of the Buddha's aureole, experiencing the awe and wonder bestowed by nature. Meanwhile, Mount Emei is also a treasured land of Buddhist culture. With temples standing in great numbers and magnificent Buddha statues, every corner exudes the profound essence of Buddhist culture, allowing you to deeply appreciate the extensiveness and profundity of Buddhist culture during your visit.

Jiuzhaigou Valley

Jiuzhaigou Valley, located in the heart of Sichuan Province, is a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its stunning natural beauty. Known as the "Valley of Nine Villages," it features crystal-clear lakes, multi-tiered waterfalls, and lush forests, all set against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. The vibrant turquoise waters of the lakes, such as the famous Five Flower Lake, are surrounded by rich biodiversity, making it a paradise for nature lovers and photographers. Jiuzhaigou’s unique landscapes are complemented by Tibetan culture, adding a cultural charm to the breathtaking scenery. Whether you’re hiking through the valley or simply soaking in the views, Jiuzhaigou offers an unforgettable experience.

Huanglong

Located in Songpan County of the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Huanglong covers an area of 700 square kilometers. It is China’s only well-preserved high-altitude travertine landscape, situated about 100 kilometers from Jiuzhaigou, at elevations ranging from 1,700 to 5,588 meters. The area is famed for its “Four Wonders”: colorful pools, snow-capped mountains, deep gorges, and lush forests. Along with ancient temples, terraced streams, and rich cultural traditions, these features make up the “Seven Marvels” of Huanglong. The main route for tourists is the 3.6-kilometer Huanglong Valley, known for its spectacular terraced calcium carbonate formations and diverse plant and animal life. Often referred to as a “World Wonder” and the “Jade Pool on Earth,” Huanglong was inscribed as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 1992. The area also features alpine forests, karst formations, waterfalls, and natural hot springs.
