5-Day Itinerary
+ DAY 1: Arrival in Beijing
Accommodation: Beijing
Please arrive in Beijing according to the group departure notice. Our staff will contact you one day in advance, so please keep your phone available. After airport or train station pickup, check into the hotel and rest. The whole day is free for your own activities.
Please note, the hotel requires guests to pay a deposit of 100-300 RMB at the front desk. If any hotel property is damaged or room keys are lost, guests are responsible for compensating the hotel. If there is no damage or other consumption, the full deposit will be refunded upon checkout with the deposit receipt. (Our agency provides free pickup service; due to varied arrival times, waiting during pickup may occur—thank you for your understanding.)
Friendly Reminder: We arrange dedicated transportation in advance. The driver will contact you by 7:00 PM the day before; please keep your phone available. Upon arrival in Beijing, the tour guide will contact you in the evening.

07:00–08:00: Wake-up call at the hotel and enjoy a rich Chinese and Western buffet breakfast.
08:00–08:15: Depart from the hotel to the Temple of Heaven (admission included, at least 1.5 hours visit).
The Temple of Heaven was the place where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties held annual ceremonies to pray for good harvests. It is a well-preserved altar complex known for its precise architectural layout, unique construction, splendid decorations, and majestic ancient pine and cypress trees.
10:40–10:50: Depart to Chairman Mao Memorial Hall (if closed due to policy or crowd control, external viewing only).
10:50–11:50: Tour Tiananmen Square, viewing the Great Hall of the People, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Monument to the People's Heroes, National Museum, and Tiananmen Gate Tower from the outside.
11:50–12:00: Transfer to a selected local restaurant for lunch.
13:00–16:00: Enter the Meridian Gate, the main entrance of the Forbidden City, for an in-depth tour plus a trendy photo stop at the Forbidden City Corner Tower Café (about 3 hours).
The Forbidden City, also called the Imperial Palace, was home to emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties and houses a vast collection of royal treasures.
16:00–16:30: Transfer back to the hotel for rest; dinner is on your own.
☆ Friendly Reminder: The attractions on this day are located along Beijing’s historic central axis, requiring a lot of walking. This area is an important government district with strict traffic controls and no parking allowed on one-way streets. Therefore, waiting times for vehicles may be long, and walking distances may be considerable. Please prepare accordingly and thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
+ DAY 3: Badaling Great Wall / Olympic Park / Exterior of Bird’s Nest and Water Cube / Local Restaurant or Jin Siwei Buffet / Summer Palace

07:30–09:00: Depart from the hotel to Badaling Great Wall (about 3 hours visit).
The Badaling Great Wall, located in Yanqing District of Beijing, has a long history and rich culture. It is the most representative section of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Known for its strategic terrain, majestic and sturdy walls, and densely packed watchtowers, it is hailed as the “essence of the Great Wall.” As a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and a national 5A-level tourist attraction, Badaling preserves a complete military defense system, showcasing ancient architectural wisdom. The scenery is magnificent all year round, and the famous saying “He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man” makes it a must-visit for both domestic and international travelers to experience Chinese civilization.
12:30–13:15: Enjoy a diverse and delicious buffet lunch at Jin Siwei Restaurant.
13:15–14:45: Transfer to Olympic Park for exterior viewing of the Bird’s Nest Stadium, Water Cube, and other buildings for at least 1 hour (entrance fees apply if you wish to enter).
Olympic Park, located in Beijing’s Chaoyang District, was built for the 29th Summer Olympic Games in 2008. It includes 10 competition venues such as the Bird’s Nest, Water Cube, National Stadium, National Indoor Stadium, National Convention Center Fencing Hall, Olympic Sports Center Stadium and Gymnasium, Yingdong Swimming Pool, Olympic Park Archery Field, Tennis Court, and Hockey Field.
16:00–16:30: Transfer to Summer Palace (about 2 hours visit).
Situated in Haidian District, Beijing, the Summer Palace was originally built during the Qing Dynasty and is a royal garden based on Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill. Known as the “Garden of Gardens,” it combines the artistic style of southern Chinese gardens with northern landscape layouts. Key sights include the Long Corridor, the Tower of Buddhist Incense, and the Seventeen-Arch Bridge. As a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and national 5A-level tourist attraction, the Summer Palace preserves the most complete royal palace-style gardens in China. The harmony of lake scenery, mountains, and architectural complexes makes it a masterpiece showcasing the pinnacle of Eastern garden art.
18:00–18:30: Transfer back to the hotel for rest; dinner is on your own.
☆ Friendly Reminder: Since the Great Wall is quite far from the city center and traffic jams when leaving the city are common, an early departure is necessary. The guide will make reasonable arrangements based on the number of visitors on the day. Please cooperate accordingly.

Due to high visitor volume during the summer season, please inform your personal assistant at the time of booking which activities you would like us to arrange.

After breakfast, enjoy free time at your leisure. Our agency will arrange transportation to the train station or airport around 12:00 noon according to your departure schedule. If you do not join the group transfer, please make your own way to the station or airport.
Tour 'Wow' Points

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)
China’s best-preserved imperial garden, the Summer Palace blends natural beauty with royal architecture. It’s often called a living museum of classical Chinese landscaping.
