Tour 'Wow' Points

Longshuixia Fissure Gorge

Formed tens of millions of years ago during a massive tectonic uplift, Longshuixia Fissure Gorge is a classic example of karst landscape. Stretching for 5 kilometers and plunging to depths of 200 to 500 meters, the gorge is grand in scale and breathtaking in beauty. It’s known for its dramatic cliffs, rugged terrain, and stunning natural scenery. Inside the scenic area, towering mountains, steep ridges, cascading streams, and narrow canyon walls create a picture-perfect landscape. The cliffs on both sides rise almost vertically, with sheer rock walls covered in lush vegetation. In some places, the fissure is so narrow that only one person can pass through at a time. Look up, and you'll see just a sliver of sky—an awe-inspiring "sky seam" overhead.

What makes it truly unique is that the monorail train passes directly through the 6th to 8th floors of a residential building! This ingenious design showcases Chongqing’s creative approach to urban planning in a mountainous landscape. The station has become a must-see attraction for visitors, with people gathering to watch and film the train as it glides smoothly through the building. It’s a perfect example of how modern engineering can coexist with everyday city life—efficient, unexpected, and undeniably cool.
