Tour 'Wow' Points

Gahaitai Grassland, Ruoergai

Here, the wind whispers over the meadows, mingling with the distant songs of herders. This stunning corner of the vast Ruoergai Grassland sits at an average altitude of 3,400 meters. The landscape stretches out like an immense green carpet, dotted with wildflowers and scattered herds of cattle and sheep like pearls. In summer, the air is crisp and fresh as if brewed by nature, clouds seem within reach, colorful prayer flags flutter in the wind, and smoke rises gently from traditional Tibetan tents.

Jiuzhaigou Valley

Home to the most breathtaking waterscapes in China, Jiuzhaigou is often summed up by the saying: “After visiting Jiuzhaigou, all other waters pale in comparison.” The valley features 108 crystal-clear alpine lakes—springs, waterfalls, rivers, and shoals—each one like a colorful jade pool set in nature's crown. Known for its "Six Wonders": emerald lakes, layered waterfalls, vibrant forests, snow-capped peaks, Tibetan culture, and blue ice, Jiuzhaigou is a place of astonishing beauty. The water here is unbelievably clear and vividly colored—its beauty leaves a lasting impression. To the local Tibetan people, Jiuzhaigou is sacred land, revered as a place of holy mountains and waters. Internationally acclaimed, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is praised as a “Fairyland on Earth” by Eastern visitors and a “World of Fantasy” by the West.

Huanglong

Sitting at an altitude between 3,000 and 3,500 meters, Huanglong is known for its unique travertine landscape. The calcium-rich mountain springs have created golden-yellow terraces that cascade down the slopes like a “yellow dragon,” which gives the area its name. Scattered alongside are vibrant turquoise pools of varying sizes and colors. From the mountaintop, visitors can enjoy awe-inspiring views of snow-capped peaks that feel almost within reach. In autumn, the hillsides burst into layers of color—amber, light green, dark green—creating a stunning visual feast. Huanglong’s geological wonders include a range of karst formations such as multi-colored travertine pools, travertine dikes, waterfalls, terraces, caves, and hot springs. The main scenic area features Huanglong Valley and Xueshanliang Ridge, with landscapes that include snow-covered mountains, lush forests, colorful pools, flowing streams, waterfalls, and ancient Tibetan temples.
