Tour 'Wow' Points

Yangtze River Cableway

Known as the “First Aerial Corridor of the Yangtze River,” this iconic ride has been featured in several Chinese films and TV shows such as "The Railway of Zhou Yu", "Crazy Stone", and "Running Man". The cable car glides across the Yangtze, offering sweeping views of the mountains and river. It is Chongqing’s last remaining river-crossing cableway and now a must-see attraction, listed as a national 3A-rated tourist site.

WFC Observation Deck

Located on the 73rd and 74th floors of the Chongqing World Financial Center (WFC) at an altitude of 590 meters, this is the tallest building in western China. It's often called “The Summit of the West” and offers the best panoramic view of the city. Recognized as the number one landmark in Chongqing, this is a can't-miss photo stop.

Daijiaxiang Cliffside Walkway

A unique path along ancient cliffs where remnants of Song Dynasty city walls can still be found. The Hongya City Wall, perched on a steep cliff between Linjiang Gate and Hongya Gate, winds along the mountainside and is dotted with stilt house ruins, stone carvings, and sun-drenched lanes.

Liziba Light Rail Viewing Platform

Snap photos at this famous viral spot where the light rail literally runs through a building! At Liziba Station on Line 2, the train glides through the 8th floor, creating a surreal “roller coaster” effect that attracts photographers from all over China.

Ciqikou Ancient Town

Located along the Jialing River, Ciqikou is known as the “Mini Chongqing” and reflects the city’s rich history. The old stone-paved street is lined with traditional snacks, teahouses, and folk performances like oil pressing, silk drawing, and Sichuan opera.

Hongya Cave

A must-visit landmark in Chongqing, Hongya Cave is a stunning 11-story complex built into a cliffside, modeled after traditional stilted buildings. By day, it showcases the charm of old Chongqing with shops, snacks, and souvenirs; by night, it transforms into a glowing wonderland of lights overlooking the river. It's the perfect place to feel the vibrant spirit of the mountain city.

Bai Mansion (Baigongguan)

Originally a private villa for a warlord, this site was converted into a prison for political prisoners by the Kuomintang during WWII. Later, it served as a detention center in the U.S.-China Cooperative Organization. The mansion holds powerful historical significance as a symbol of resistance and sacrifice.

Zhazidong Concentration Camp

Located in Gele Mountain, this former coal mine was repurposed as a hidden detention camp by the Kuomintang. It consists of inner and outer courtyards and once held revolutionaries during the 1940s. Learn about the tragic “11/27 Massacre” and honor those who gave their lives in pursuit of justice.
