10-Day Itinerary
+ Day 1: Arrival in Chengdu – Airport/Train Station Pickup – Free Time
Our staff will provide airport or train station pickup service with a private vehicle.
A staff member will call you around 9:00 PM to inform you of the next day's departure time (late-night arrivals may receive the call later). Please keep your phone accessible. No tour guide service is provided on this day.
Hotel deposit (RMB 200–300) must be paid at check-in and will be refunded upon checkout with the deposit slip. Please make sure to bring your room card and all personal belongings when checking out in the morning.

+ Day 2: Chengdu – Dujiangyan Scenic Area – Songpan – Chuanzhusi/Jiuzhaigou

Enjoy a specialty lunch: “Giant Panda Wellness Feast.”
After lunch, continue the journey through Mao County, passing scenic views of the Minjiang River Valley and local Tibetan and Qiang villages.
Cross the Diexi Lake, formed by the 1933 earthquake, then stop at the historic Songpan Ancient Town (30-minute visit).
Visit a Tibetan family and enjoy a traditional Tibetan-style hot pot dinner. (This is a complimentary activity; no refund if you choose not to participate.)
Overnight: Chuanzhusi or Jiuzhaigou

Spend 6–8 hours exploring the park with scenic shuttle buses.

Jiuzhaigou is best explored freely; guides cannot accompany you throughout due to shuttle system limitations.

Two hiking options:
Full hike (approx. 4.2 km one way): For active travelers — includes Welcome Pool, Flying Waterfall, Washing Cave, Golden Sand Paved Ground, Bonsai Pool, Stone Tower, Huanglong Temple, Huanglong Cave, and Five-Color Pond.
Half-hike with cable car: Take the cable car up and hike down through the main scenic points.
Enjoy a special yak herb stew lunch in Chuanzhusi.
Return to Chengdu via Dujiangyan in the afternoon.

+ Day 5: Chengdu – Panda Base – People’s Park – Kuanzhai Alley
09:00: Arrive at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (approx. 2-hour visit).
09:30–11:30: Observe the pandas' daily routine and explore the base at your own pace. After the visit, transfer to the next stop.
12:00–14:00: Lunch on your own.
14:30–16:30: Visit People’s Park, where you can enjoy a cup of tea (optional) and experience the laid-back lifestyle of Chengdu locals.
16:30–18:30: Kuanzhai Alley, a must-see old street district with historic architecture. Optional: sip traditional tea or enjoy a Sichuan opera face-changing show.

+ Day 7: Three Natural Bridges – Fairy Mountain – “Impression · Wulong” Live Show
Note: A mandatory eco-bus (RMB 40/person) takes visitors into the scenic area; electric carts are optional (RMB 15/person).
Next, travel to the Fairy Mountain National Forest Park (minimum visit time: 90 minutes), also a 5A-rated attraction. Sitting at an average altitude of 1,900 meters, this vast alpine grassland is often called the “Eastern Switzerland.” Surrounded by over 330,000 acres of forest and 100,000 acres of meadow, it forms a massive “oxygen bar.” Enjoy the fresh air, cool breezes, and open skies.
In the evening, enjoy the complimentary “Impression · Wulong” outdoor performance—a spectacular live show featuring over 100 performers singing traditional river songs and telling stories of the local culture. (Show lasts at least 70 minutes.)

Board a scenic Wujiang River cruise (approx. 60 minutes). The Wujiang River, the third major river in Chongqing and a key tributary of the Yangtze, is known for its emerald-green waters and the breathtaking scenery of deep gorges and mountains—like sailing through a Chinese ink painting.

Panda Valley, Dujiangyan

Located in the western part of Chengdu Plain, in the city of Dujiangyan, Sichuan Province, this ancient water conservancy project sits on the Minjiang River. It was originally constructed during the late Qin Dynasty under the command of Governor Li Bing and his son, who built it based on earlier works by the legendary figure Bie Ling. The Dujiangyan system, which includes the Fish Mouth, Flying Sand Weir, and Baopingkou, is the world’s oldest and largest water engineering project still in use today. Notably, it is unique for its ability to divert water without the use of dams.
