Mount Mengding

Mount Mengding, located in Mingshan District, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, is one of the birthplaces of Chinese tea culture and is known as the "Holy Mountain of World Tea Culture." Surrounded by tea plantations and misty clouds, this mountain has a history of tea cultivation dating back to the Western Han Dynasty. Its famous teas, such as "Mengding Ganlu" and "Mengding Huangya," were once imperial tributes. In addition to its unique tea culture, Mount Mengding also blends Buddhist and Taoist influences, featuring ancient temples and tranquil tea gardens. With its stunning scenery and pleasant climate, it is an ideal destination for tea tasting, hiking, and relaxation.

The Tea History Museum is dedicated to showcasing the development of tea culture, featuring a rich collection of tea-related artifacts, historical documents, and exhibits that trace the origins, spread, and evolution of tea. The museum typically includes multiple exhibition areas covering topics such as the origins of tea, the ancient imperial tribute tea system, the evolution of tea processing techniques, the development of tea utensils, and the influence of tea culture worldwide.
In addition to static exhibitions, the museum offers interactive experiences such as tea ceremonies, tea tasting sessions, and hands-on tea-making activities, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the unique charm of tea culture. Whether you are a tea enthusiast or someone eager to explore traditional Chinese culture, this museum is a must-visit destination.

  • Admission Tickets: Includes Mount Mengding entrance ticket, sightseeing shuttle, tea picking, tea making, tea tasting, tea ceremony performance, and tea ceremony learning experience.
  • Tips or gratuities for guides and drivers （20 RMB per person per day.）
  • Note: The Mount Mengding cable car and zip line are not included in the itinerary. These fees will only apply if guests choose to hike the mountain.
  • Meals: Lunch，Bottled water.
  • Cable Car: 60 RMB per person (round trip within the scenic area).
  • Zip Line: Starting from 58 RMB per person (excluding public holidays).
  • Guide: English-speaking tour guide.
  • Personal Expenses: Any expenses outside the itinerary, including special access fees, entertainment expenses, and additional food and beverages in restaurants.
  • Transportation: 6-9 seat business vehicle&Driver-guide
  • Children under 12 years old are provided with half-sized portions of meals and a seat on the tour bus (excluding transportation fees within scenic areas). Any additional expenses are the responsibility of the child’s guardian.

  • Insurance: Inbound travel accident insurance (coverage up to 300,000 RMB).
  • Additional costs due to weather conditions, traffic delays, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
  • The children's price includes meals, half-sized portions, a seat on the bus, and guide services.
  • It does not cover entrance fees,  insurance, or performance tickets at scenic spots. Any additional expenses will be charged according to the actual rates and are the responsibility of the child's guardian.
