Tour 'Wow' Points
Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding
The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is the largest giant panda breeding research institution in the world and the best place to observe these national treasures. The base boasts a beautiful ecological environment with lush greenery, making it a comprehensive attraction that integrates research, education, tourism, and conservation. Here, you can closely observe the adorable antics of giant pandas, from munching on bamboo and climbing trees to rolling around, all of which will bring a smile to your face. In addition to the pandas, the base features a specialized science education area, allowing visitors to learn about their habits and conservation knowledge while enjoying the charming pandas. There's also a special “Panda Encounter” experience, where you can meet the celebrity panda "Hua Hua."
Chinese Foot Massage — A Healing Tradition with a Thousand-Year History
Chinese foot massage, also known as zú liáo (足疗), is a deeply relaxing and therapeutic practice rooted in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). It is based on the belief that specific reflex points on the feet correspond to different organs and systems throughout the body. By applying pressure to these points, practitioners help restore balance, improve circulation, and promote overall wellness. A typical session begins with a soothing foot soak in warm water to relax muscles and stimulate blood flow. This is followed by a skilled massage that may include kneading, pressing, and stretching techniques. The therapist focuses on reflex zones to release tension, relieve fatigue, and enhance energy flow along the body’s meridians. In China, foot massage is not just a luxury—it’s part of daily life. Many locals enjoy it after work or travel to relieve stress and improve sleep. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or a deeper cultural experience, a Chinese foot massage offers a perfect combination of comfort and traditional healing.
Capybara & Raccoon Café — Chengdu’s Cutest Animal Café
The café is home to several friendly raccoons and gentle capybaras — the world’s largest rodents, known for their calm and sociable nature. Guests can sit with them, feed them snacks, or simply relax while these furry friends wander around freely. Every animal is well cared for, and staff ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for both guests and pets. It’s a fun and relaxing place for families, couples, and animal lovers to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Whether you’re sipping a latte, taking cute photos, or gently petting a capybara, this café offers a one-of-a-kind experience that perfectly captures Chengdu’s laid-back and playful spirit.
